Whether learning self
defense, self improvement, or fulfilling a competitive spirit,
TEAM ALLIANCE will
help you accomplish all of your training goals. Through an array of
classes, we welcome all age and skill levels. There is a place for
everyone on this team!
It would be my honor to
have you, my guest, join the greatest Brazilian jiu-jitsu team in
the world: Team Alliance. Whether your interest is physical fitness,
self defense, or to become the next world champion, if you give me
your best effort, I will give you the confidence, discipline and
knowledge you need to accomplish your goals. I take measures
everyday to ensure I am up to date on every detail of the latest
techniques that makes this graceful yet deadly art so effective. If
you decide this is the place you want to train you will become a
member of our family. On the mat we are able to see the truth in who
we are. Only when we test our heart do we find out if we have heart.
Only when we feel the desire to quit do we find the strength to
continue. Only when we humble ourselves enough to put complete trust
in someone else are we worthy of trust ourselves. Finding our flaws
is the first step to overcoming them; this is how we grow. As we
train in this art we experience success as well as failures
together. As a family, we can be a source of encouragement,
knowledge, and sometimes tough love for each other. Jiu-jitsu is a
healthy lifestyle that you can take pride in. Jiu-jitsu is an art in
which any body type can be successful. Jiu-jitsu is the most
effective art in the world today. Jiu-jitsu will change who you are.

About Brazilian Jiu
Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
is a martial art and combat sport that focuses on grappling or
ground fighting with the goal of gaining a dominant position and
using joint-locks and chokeholds to force an opponent to submit.
It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person using
leverage and proper technique can successfully defend themselves
against a bigger, stronger assailant. BJJ can be trained for self
defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed
martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring (commonly referred to as
'rolling') and live drilling play a major role in training, and a
premium is placed on performance, especially in competition.
